Toronto Raptors blow it against the Kings in the fourth quarter

The Raptors were tied going into the fourth quarter against the SACRAMENTO KINGS (who came into the game 0 and 4 on the road) with the score being 63-63 and the Raptors had a huge problems going into the fourth quarter which were who was going to step up as Bargnani had been sat for the fourth quarter and the other was who was going to put a body on DeMarcus Cousins and it turned out no one was able to do either tasks. DeMarcus Cousins who had 13 points and 14 boards going into the final quarter had 8 points and 5 boards and ended up with a career high in boards with 19 and added 21 points to go with that and Jamaal Magloire who found the floor for the first time in three games did tie him up and sent him to the line but it was call a fragrant foul in the second quarter and he did little to nothing in his 5 minutes with a single board. Even though Barbosa was on fire in the first half and had 12 of his 16 first half points in the second quarter ended up with 24 points but more importantly no free throws so he was not hurting the Kings with fouls if he drove the line and DeMar tried in the fourth quarter to heat it up with 7 of his 13 in the quarter but it was not enough as the Kings outscored the Raptors 35-28 in the final quarter to take the game 98-91 for their first road win of the season.

The Raptors got a double-double from Bargnani in just over 28 minutes even though he went 2 of 13 from the floor and was 6 of 6 from the line and picked up 10 boards but the rest could not support him especially in the fourth quarter as the defense could not get the job done in front of one of the smallest Raptors crowds I have seen on TV as sections were empty. Amir had no points and 5 boards along with 4 assists as Cousins made him work hard on both ends of the floor while Linas Kleiza made his return with 10 points and 3 rebounds in 14 minutes while Jose had 13 points and 10 assists with 6 boards.

The Kings got great efforts from Tyreke Evans who went 14 of 14 from the line as he had 29 points with 14 points in the fourth quarter and had 7 boards with 3 assists and Isaiah Thomas (his name was because his father lost a beat) had 12 points in the fourth quarter and ended up with 20 points and 6 assists along with 3 boards. The Kings lived @ the free throw line as the had 34 attempts and they hit 31 of them and they hit 90% of their free throws and they hit 35% from the floor in the first three quarters.

The Raptors have the Pacers on Friday @ ACC which maybe a train wreck if the Raptors do not play up to the Pacers level
