Raptors good, bad, and ugly for week 1
Good - Andrei Bargnani, DeMar DeRozan, and Reggie Evans have been playing
above expectations this week and need to keep it up to have even a chance
at a chance to make the playoffs this season. Bargnani has averaged 24
points a game and DeRozan has averaged 15.8 points a game (with a bad game
aganist the Jazz thrown in to bring the #'s down) and finally Evans was
all world in the first 3 games along with a subpar game aganist the Jazz
and has a respectable 13.8 rebounds a game.
Bad - Jay Triano let the Raptors go 3 for their last 13 shots in the third
quarter without calling a time-out aganist the Kings and then let the
Kings outscore the Raptors 11-3 to start the fourth quarter to tie the
game. Inwhich they had a 17-point lead going into the second quarter and
they should have won the game with that kind of lead aganist the Kings.
Ugly - Raptors score the first basket of the game aganist the Jazz and
then let the Jazz go 7-7 while the Raptors went 0-6 to give the Jazz a
quick 15-2 lead. Then they streched it out to a 23 point lead and finally
lead after 1 quarter 41-22 and the Raptors tried to claw their way back
but it was too much in the end and they lose by double figures.
